For more info on this band I gladly direct your attention to the interview we did with guitarist Jon. Right now, it suffices to clarify that this is mostly (but for the 3 indicated songs) re-recorded material (only demo material, I suspect), with a different line-up from the one in '85. Warning dealt in that typical Thrash Metal with 'Bay Area' signature, where a certain amount of N.W.O.B.H.M. was introduced. In the case of this band that happened in varying quantities, and at times they sound like an early Iron Maiden in Thrash version (at least musically!). Now I don't know if they used 'em in the old days as well, so I can only say that the sparcely used keyboards (in 3 tracks only, and quite a lot in "Aftermath" -real creepy atmosphere it gives that song!) is actually a very nice addition. The only track that got quite a work over is "Time To Die", of which we only find the intro as an introduction to this album (the rest of the track having been found much too weak by the band to make it on this album). When listening to the 3 closing songs, you won't wonder why I prefer the new versions with vocalist Torre. I mean, back in the '80s one could get away with that kind of silly vocals, but these days people have higher standards, don't they? And Torre's vocal job makes the songs from 'interesting' to 'Epic', if you know what I mean. Not merely a project, this is a band I'll definitely follow as their career unfolds. I mean, these guys may hit it big, and I'm really looking forward to material written by the new band!
